An outpouring of food donations, care for the community and volunteer teamwork came together on Saturday, November 19th at the Northeast Regional Park of the Four Corners Community to ensure that families that have fallen on difficult times have a joyful and healthy Thanksgiving meal. Fresh fruits, vegetables and all of the trimmings for a holiday celebration were included in the care packages that were complete with whole turkeys or hams.

Restaurants and grocery stores across the country are experiencing food shortages and delays.

That has consumers paying more as we continue to see supply chain disruptions.

Food banks are feeling the effects as well, and as we enter into the holiday season, donations and governmental assistance is very much needed.

Depending on their location, food banks face different concerns.

So how are the Tampa and Orlando regions managing? And what are local elected officials doing or can do to help address the shortages?

We know that life can be unpredictable and challenging, and anyone can face tough times. Whether it’s due to a medical condition, job loss, or a difficult family situation, we understand that these circumstances do not define an individual’s worth or character. At Hands of Hope America, we aim to support and empower people during these trying times. Our goal is to provide a helping hand and a safe space where individuals can access the resources they need to thrive.
